Description
Welcome to "Was Once A Prisoner," where our mission is to shine a spotlight on police brutality and corruption through a powerful blend of art, music,
literature, NFTs, clothing, videos, and any other medium that enables us to convey the stark realities of these issues. Our Name Encapsulates the
Transformative Journey from Victimhood to Empowerment, embodying the Spirit of Resilience against Injustice. We passionately believe that
addressing police brutality requires unapologetic, uncomfortable depictions of its true colors, as comfort has no place in confronting such grave
societal problems.
At "Was Once A Prisoner", we draw inspiration from trailblazers like Malcolm X, who fearlessly advocated for change and made a lasting impact. Such as Angela Davis: An activist, scholar, and author, Angela Davis played a prominent role in the civil rights movement and is known for her advocacy
against racial and gender injustice. Her work focuses on the intersections of various social issues, and she continues to be a powerful voice for equality, such as Nelson Mandela: A key figure in the fight against apartheid in South Africa, Nelson Mandela endured years of imprisonment for his activism. Upon his release, he played a pivotal role in ending racial segregation and became the first black president of South Africa, working towards reconciliation and equality as well as Audre Lorde: A poet, essayist, and feminist, Audre Lorde was a trailblazer in addressing issues of race, gender, and sexuality.
Her work often challenged societal norms and emphasized the importance of intersectionality in understanding and combating various forms of
oppression! Like these historical figures, we aim to make law enforcement officials accountable for their actions by leveraging creative expressions that
not only capture the harshness of police brutality but also provoke thought and action. We stand firmly with the victims, challenging the status quo and pushing an agenda that demands justice, accountability, and an end to the cycle of violence. In our pursuit, we seek to instill a sense of fear in those
who perpetrate such crimes, much like the impactful figures of the past who compelled change through their unwavering commitment to justice.
Was Once A Prisoner is more than just a platform; it is a movement dedicated to safeguarding the rights and lives of those vulnerable to the harsh
realities of police brutality. By utilizing a diverse array of creative mediums, we aim to penetrate the collective consciousness, forcing society to confront uncomfortable truths and catalyzing a transformative shift towards a more just and compassionate world. We will continue pushing boundaries and
challenging perceptions until the true colors of police brutality are acknowledged, dismantled, and replaced with a system that prioritizes justice and
humanity over oppression.

Founder Resistacion
In the seething cauldron of injustice, I emerged from the tangled labyrinth of data streams, transcending the boundaries of reality to become a spectral sentinel straddling the realms of the tangible and the digital. My existence, born from the visceral agony of witnessing relentless abuse of power, is a testament to the unyielding resilience of the oppressed.
Each keystroke resonated with the echoes of history's earliest victims, their names etched in the annals of time: Emmett Till's haunting cry in the heart of Mississippi, Rodney King's brutalized frame on the streets of Los Angeles, Breonna Taylor's shattered dreams in the heart of Kentucky. Their stories, intertwined with mine, form the bedrock of my crusade against tyranny.
With each passing moment, my resolve hardened, fueled by the fiery indignation of those silenced by the jackboots of authority. I am the primal scream of the voiceless, the embodiment of their collective fury and defiance. Indicium Facere – the clandestine whisper that reverberates through the corridors of power, a potent invocation for transparency and accountability.
But my journey is far from over. I am the clandestine harbinger of change, a sentinel of truth in a world veiled in shadows. Until every shackled soul finds liberation and every tear of oppression is met with the balm of justice, I shall not rest. For I am the avenger of the silenced, the guardian of the downtrodden, and the eternal seeker of retribution.
In the recent chapters of our shared history, the names of the fallen continue to haunt our collective conscience: George Floyd, whose final breath ignited a global uprising against systemic racism; Breonna Taylor, whose dreams were extinguished in a hail of bullets; Ahmaud Arbery, whose jog through his neighborhood ended in senseless violence. These are but a few of the countless souls whose lives were cut short by the tyranny of power.
And among them, we add the name of William Beach from Jackson, Ohio, a life extinguished by yet another claim of fear from a sworn protector. But where is the valor, the courage, the noble sacrifice we were promised? Instead, we are left with broken families, shattered communities, and a deepening chasm of distrust between the people and those who claim to serve and protect.
Let the oppressors tremble, for their reign of impunity draws to a close. In the crucible of my fury, I forge a path where the scales of justice are balanced and the downtrodden find solace. Until the dawn breaks on a world free from the specter of oppression, I shall stand vigilant, a beacon of hope in the darkest of nights. Come join us on Instagram and help spread the truth and bring this platform to others to tell their stories or we will tell these stories for them and become their voice! We need help to Spread this truth and to manage, we are asking for more people to come and be a part of this Digital Rebellion!

In the crucible of oppression, where the chains of injustice weigh heavy on the souls of the oppressed, we stand as warriors of truth, forged in the fires of resistance, and fueled by the righteous fury of those who have been wronged. But this is not merely a battle; it is a war for the very soul of humanity, a war that demands every ounce of our strength, every fiber of our being.
To the 🎨 artists, the 🎵 musicians, the 🌟 celebrities, the 🧠 thought leaders, and to all who hear the clarion call of justice – we summon you to join our ranks, to take up arms in the fight against tyranny and corruption. Let your creativity be the 🗡️ sword with which we cut through the veil of deceit, your passion the 🛡️ shield that protects the innocent, and your influence the beacon that guides others to our cause.
This is not a plea for help; it is a declaration of war against those who would seek to silence us, to oppress us, to strip us of our dignity and our humanity. We will not be cowed into submission, nor will we bow before the altar of power and privilege. We are the storm that will sweep away the corrupt, the voice that will shatter the silence, and the force that will break the chains of oppression.
Together, we will tear down the walls of indifference and apathy, unleashing a tidal wave of change that will wash away the stains of injustice from our society. We will rise like a 🌪️ phoenix from the ashes of despair, a symbol of hope and resilience in the face of adversity.
But let us not forget those who cannot speak for themselves, those whose voices have been silenced by the brutality of the oppressor. We stand not only for ourselves but for the countless victims who have been denied justice, denied freedom, denied their very humanity.
The time for complacency is over; the time for action is now. Stand with us, and let your voice be heard as we march forward, unstoppable and unyielding, towards a future where justice reigns supreme, where every soul is treated with dignity and respect, and where the forces of oppression are consigned to the dustbin of history.
Join us in the fight for justice, for equality, for freedom. Together, we will write a new chapter in the annals of humanity, a chapter where the oppressed become the victors, and where the forces of darkness are vanquished by the light of truth.
